Keefe D's Arraignment Postponed Due to Lawyer's Absence in the 2Pac Murder Case
Last week marked a significant development in the long-dormant murder case of 2Pac as Keefe D, a suspect in the crime, was apprehended. Unfortunately, when the first court day arrived on October 4th, Keefe D's legal counsel was conspicuously absent.
On this Wednesday, the individual known as Duane Davis, whose real name matches the suspect's identity, was slated to make his initial court appearance. This was meant to provide him with an opportunity to respond to the murder charge, which involves the use of a deadly weapon and is linked to the 1996 killing of Tupac Shakur.
Regrettably, the lawyer representing the defendant failed to show up for the proceedings. Consequently, Keefe D requested a two-week postponement from the judge, resulting in the delay of his arraignment. Davis was taken into police custody on the morning of September 29th, marking the very first arrest in the 27-year-old unsolved investigation into Tupac's murder.
