CARDI B CONFIRMS SPLIT FROM OFFSET: 'I°VE BEEN SINGLE FOR A MINUTE NOW

It seems that Cardi B and Offset are no longer enjoying their time together.

The "Bartier Cardi" artist has verified her separation from the Migos member.

In a recent Instagram Live, she pondered if her followers had been "getting clues" about the breakup from her social media activities or online followings, Cardi clarified her relationship status with Offset.

"I've been single for a minute now," she expressed in a segment of the Live reposted by Pop Crave, "but I have been hesitant to like—not hesitant I just don't know how to announce it to the world. But I feel like today has been a signal. The previous time I was on Live I sort of wanted to inform you all, but I didn't know how to convey it, so I reconsidered. But it has been this way for a while now. I just interpreted it as a signal."

The Grammy recipient indicated she's anticipating a fresh beginning. "I wanna start 2024, like, fresh, open," she added. "I don't know. I'm eager for a new life, for a new start. And yeah, I'm thrilled." This declaration arrives after fans observed that Cardi and Offset, both 31, had stopped following each other on social media and she shared a vague message on Instagram Stories.

"You know when you just out grow relationships," the "Money" performer penned in a Dec. 4 Instagram Stories post, subsequently appending, "I'm tired of protecting peoples feelings...I GOTTA PUT MYSELF FIRST!" Cardi B and Offset privately got married in 2017. Their public displays of affection on the red carpet and lavish presents to each other frequently made news, as did speculations about their marriage.

Cardi and Offset initially parted ways in 2018 shortly after the birth of their daughter Kulture, 5. The Father of 4 rapper was embroiled in infidelity rumors at the time and made a public apology. By the start of 2019, Cardi confirmed the two were "working things out." Nonetheless, they continued to face highs and lows—with her filing for divorce in 2020 and retracting it months later. Besides Kulture, the celebrities are parents to son Wave, 2. Offset also has three children from prior relationships. A few months after Wave's birth, Cardi hinted that she and Offset were doing well.

"Of course we went through some challenges," she disclosed to E! News in November 2021. "We had to understand each other better. But I feel like I've never been more content. I genuinely believe that [it's] not just about marriage, it's the family, the unity, the friendship that we share, the 'I have your back, you have my back.'"
