Kid Cudi Confirms Diddy Blew Up His Car in Cassie Lawsuit

Singer Cassie has filed a new lawsuit against music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, in which she claims that he not only abused and manipulated her for almost ten years, but also that he may have been behind rapper Kid Cudi‘s car blowing up after she dated him.

The New York Times, which reported the story, said that Diddy warned to destroy the rapper’s car in 2012, when he and Cassie had a brief romance. The lawsuit states, “Around that time, Kid Cudi’s car exploded in his driveway.” Kid Cudi apparently verified through a spokesperson, “This is all true.”

The lawsuit also accuses Diddy of taking other extremely controlling actions to dominate her during their rocky relationship, such as threatening to block her music, forcing her to use drugs like ecstasy and ketamine, and hitting her, including causing her black eyes and bribing hotels to hide the abuse. The lawsuit further alleges that he pressured her into having sex with male prostitutes, arguing that as this happened across state borders, this could amount to sex trafficking.

Diddy rejects the allegations, with one of his lawyers essentially labeling the accusations as a scam and saying Cassie attempted to blackmail him with threats of a revealing book, while Cassie’s lawyers insist that it was the opposite and she declined a payoff from him to stay silent.
