Keke Palmer Seeks Sole Custody of Son After Alleged Abuse by Ex
The Nope star Keke Palmer, 30, wants to have full custody of her baby boy Leodis, who is 8 months old and whose father is Darius Jackson. She claims that Jackson has been violent with her many times and asks for a restraining order against him in Los Angeles. PEOPLE has seen the court papers that show this.
Palmer says in the papers that on Sunday, “Darius trespassed into my home without my knowledge or consent, threatened me, then physically attacked me — lunging for my neck, striking me, throwing me over the couch, and stealing my phone when I told him I was going to call the police.” She also shows pictures that look like they are from a security camera of a man hitting a woman over a couch. Palmer says that Jackson, 30, has hurt her several times in the last 2 years. She says there is another video from “home security footage [from] February 13, 2022 when Darius body slammed me onto the stairs by my neck.” Palmer says in the papers that he did “many instances of physical violence, including striking and grabbing me around the neck, descriptions of Darius destroying my personal property, including diaries and prescription eyeglasses, throwing my belongings into the street, throwing my car keys to prevent me from driving away, hitting my in front of our son, spewing profanities about me to our son, threatening to kill himself with a gun if I left him, harassment, and other physical and emotional abuse.”
