Lil Wayne Disses His Wax Figure: ‘Dat Sh-t Ain’t Me!’

Lil Wayne is not a fan of his wax figure at the Hollywood Wax Museum in Tennessee. The rapper took to Twitter on Monday, October 23, 2023, to express his dissatisfaction with the statue that was supposed to resemble him. He wrote “Sorry wax museum but dat sh-t ain’t me! You tried tho and I appreciate the effort.”

His wax figure has been on display since the summer of 2022, but it recently gained attention on social media for its lack of resemblance to the real Lil Wayne. Many people commented that the figure looked like other artists, such as Toosii or Jacquees, or that it was a poor attempt at recreating Lil Wayne’s tattoos and clothing style.

Lil Wayne is not the only celebrity who has been unhappy with his wax figure. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson also criticized his wax figure at the Grévin Museum in Paris, France, for being too light-skinned. He said he would contact the museum to update his figure with some important details and improvements.

Wax figures are supposed to be realistic representations of famous people, but sometimes they fail to capture their essence and appearance. Lil Wayne and The Rock are just two examples of celebrities who have been disappointed by their wax counterparts. Maybe they should stick to their music and movies instead of posing for wax museums.
